We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide assistance to our internal employees located almost everywhere in Europe and not only. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems related to the software platform, mailboxes and any other internal tools like Slack, Skype or FTP Clients:


Technical Support Engineer

Location: Chisinau



Technical Support Engineer activity will include resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support. You will use email and chat applications to give colleagues quick answers to simple IT issues. For more complex problems that require nuanced instruction, you will provide written instructions and technical manuals.



  1. Maintenance of a hosting infrastructure for the company software platform, including Operating System updates, security patches, virtual private networks setup, handling software platform backups;
  2. Maintenance of mail servers and providing technical support for mail clients setup, web and mobile;
  3. Providing technical support through team viewer for the main internal software platform or any other tools used by more than 50 persons, based on help desk tickets or real-time chat type requests;
  4. Administration of the software platform in terms of general configuration, users permissions, cron jobs setup or technical guides writing;
  5. Testing internal software platform and submission of the issue tickets in the Software Provider Help Desk;
  6. Operating specific technical activities in the News Production field, where the company operates


Desired Skills and Experience:

- to be qualified for this role, you should hold a degree in a relevant field, like Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering.

- Background in Linux/Windows Administration

- Background in Mail Servers Administration

- Knowledge of best practices in IT operations like always-available service

- Good English, spoken and written

- It'a plus: experience with SQL queries, MySQL specifically

- It'a plus: experience in Search Engine Optimisation and websites maintenance

- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Substantial personal responsibility and autonomy
